CITYLIFE: STERCHELEGROUP TECHNOLOGICAL CONTRIBUTE

Thursday, 11 October, 2018

In the most innovative quarter of Milan, CityLife, the third tower is under construction: the PwC, the headquarters of Pricewater House Coopers, designed by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind.

With its 28 floors and 175 meters high, the building, whose foundations were laid in November 2015, is named "the curved", due to its characteristic shape, and will complete the CityLife Business & Shopping District, the heart of the intervention, together with the Allianz Tower of Arata Isozaki and the General Tower of Zaha Hadid.

StercheleGroup contributed to the majestic project with the design and production of the prefabricated stairs for the stairwell of Libeskind Tower, and of the terrace steps of the cinemas for the multiplex inside the Shopping District in Podium Hadid.

The 150 Libenskind stairs are installed together with the realization of the different floors, simplifying a complex operation and speeding up the management of the building site, in full compliance with the project specifications and becoming immediately useable also for following works.
