Laying and casting of the components without use or with a reduced use of shoring (maximum and medium self-supporting capacity).

  • Increased work site speed.
  • Greater order and leaner organization of site.
  • Immediate practicability of the floor below the casting after hardening of the concrete.
  • No deflection  of the beams for the floor's own weight, by means of a suitable precamber, both in elastic phase and, even more important, for its creep component.
  • No hogging moment over the support, due to the proper weight, with consequent leaner joint.

RESTRICTIONS

  • It is always advisable to look for the best balance between costs and benefits, among a maximum, an average or none self-supporting capacity.

Slabs with maximum self-supporting capacity: hollow core slabs and Floor plates with PREM lattice girder.
