Citylife Milan: the iconic NH Collection Hotel, obtained from the conversion of a former church, opens to the public.
The audacious project signed by the Quattroassociati Studio consists of the architectural and functional valorization of a former church through interventions that convert the spaces by integrating them to the hospitality-hotel program with a significant characterization of hospitality, typical of NH Collection brand.
The former church of Cristo Re, deconsecrated and abandoned for some time, was in fact partially recovered: the nave now is the entrance portico with the hall leading to the reception, the transept was extended giving shape to the restaurant, while the Neo-Renaissance style facade with the huge arch represents the hallmark of the hotel.
Behind the structure, a new volume of 14 floors raised, housing no. 185 rooms (including no. 10 suites), a conference center and a breathtaking swimming pool on the top floor where the city skyline can be enjoyed.
